What can I say, Po Boys are home hitters everytime. Always a crowd pleaser. Try our Spicy Po Boy sandwich that’s layer on a buttered toast roll, crisp lettuce, thinly slice tomatoes and remoulade sauce.

Ingredients – Serves/4

1 pound shrimp (shelled and deveined)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon House of CeCe’s – Hot Pepper Seasoning Salt
1 baguette (cut into 4 sandwich sized lengths and sliced in half)
1 cup lettuce (shredded)
2 large tomatoes (sliced)
1/4 cup remoulade sauce (see below)

In a medium bowl add the shrimp, olive oil and House of CeCe’s – Hot Pepper Seasoning Salt. Add the shrimp on skewer and grill until cooked, about 2-3 minutes per side. Assemble sandwich.

Remoulade Sauce

1/2 cup of chopped green onion
1/2 cup of finely celery, minced
1 clove of garlic, finely minced
2 tablespoons of ketchup
1/8 cup of spicy Creole mustard
1 tablespoon of horseradish
1 cup of mayonnaise (ex. Hellmann’s Extra Heavy)
2 yolks from hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/8 cup of white vinegar
1 tablespoon of paprika, Smoked
1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning
Worcestershire sauce, season to taste
Hot pepper sauce, season to taste
Pinch of thyme
Pinch of tarragon
Couple pinches of chopped parsley
House of CeCe’s Hot Pepper Seasoning Salt, to taste
1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil

 

Method of Production

In a medium bowl combine all the ingredients, except the olive oil. Whisk in the olive oil in small increments until the mixture is blended completely and have a nice creamy consistency. Note: You can use food processor a smoother consistency, if desired. Taste, adjust seasonings, and refrigerate for several hours or overnight to thoroughly chill.
